How long has circus been a part of your life?
I started circus when I was 9 years old, so I've been here for about 9 years.
Why circus?
Circus Monoxide raised me and made me into the person I am today, showing me what being an authentic artist is all about. With its perpetual support that allows me to explore my identity, the monoxide community has nurtured my growth as a creator and young person, which is one of the reasons I have stuck with it all these years. I have a strong interest in anatomy, which fuels my curiosity as to how I can achieve different skills with my body. My passion for physical theatre and creative arts has been a medium of communication that speaks for me when I can't find words, and I am honoured to share its expressive ability with everyone I meet at Circus Monoxide.
